On September 18th, China Tibetan cultural exchange group held a forum in Embassy of PRC in Russia by communicating extensively with Russian scholars and experts, teachers and students from higher institutes, and representative reporters from China and Russia to strengthen their understandings of the historic, economic and social development of Tibet.
Hao Shiyan, the speaker of the group, president assistant of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, expert on ethnology and anthropology presented the social and economic changes and improvements after Tibetan democratic reform, the policy of free religion, protection and passing of Tibetan culture, the exchanges of Buddhism between China and Russia to the guests. Rinpoche Jiang Cuolin, answered the questions of the present guests and transferred new understandings of Tibet to them. All guests expressed the wishes to visit Tibet in the future to get further understandings of Tibet.
