　　边巴：1972年出生于西藏日喀则白朗乡嘎东乡。
 

　　曾用姓名：米玛次仁。1985年在河南郑州市第四中上初级中学；1989年在河北师院附属西藏学校上中师（中等师范专科）；1992年在西藏大学生物系学习生物；1993年转到西藏大学艺术系；1994年7月毕业于西藏大学艺术系，美术专科班，并分配到拉萨市师范学校任美术教师；1994年——1999年从事水彩和油画创作。
 

　　1998年8月在西藏拉萨与朋友格桑一起举办水彩、油画展

　　1999年开始学习并创作西藏布画（布面重彩）至今

　　1999年水彩作品《晌午》入选第九届中国美展

　　1999年油画作品《容谷》在拉萨市美术家展中获优秀奖

　　水彩和油画作品多次发表于区内外的杂志刊物《水彩》、《美术向导》、《中国西藏》、《西藏文学》等。

　　2001年水彩作品《加措岗》风景写生在中国第四届《民族百花》少数民族画展获优秀奖

　　2002年应邀参加在深圳、青岛举办的“西藏文化”展，作品有布面重彩《嘎东的记忆》系列三幅

　　2004年5月21日参加由李可染艺术基金会主办在中国?北京?中国美术馆举办的《雪域彩练》展，作品均为布面重彩

　　同年参加《雪域彩练》在上海美术馆，深圳关山月美术馆举办的巡回展

　　2005年作品《远古的景象》系列参加，参加在新加坡余欣美术馆举办的，2005年西藏画派新加坡展

　　2006年11月应中国文联的邀请参加在在日本东京举办的第四届“东亚美术交流节”。

　　2007年参加由李可染艺术基金会主办的画展《西藏我的家》

　　2008年10月参加新加坡余欣美术馆举办的《净界、境界，从神本到人本的西藏当代绘画展》作品：《远古的景像》《风雨》系列

2006 Invited by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles to attend the fourth East Asia Art Exchange Festival.
 

2007 Participate in the Art Exhibition “Tibet My Home” sponsored by Li keran Art Foundation.
 

2008 The series of painting: “Ancient Scenes” and “Rain” were displayed in “Purity and Perception, from Theocentricism to Humanism –Tibet Contemporary Art Exhibition”
